My name is Rebecca (Becky) Combs and I am a Licensed Massage Therapist in Olympia, WA.
I attended Brenneke Massage School in Seattle, WA, graduating from the 1000 hr program in 2007. On the day of the graduation ceremony, I was beginning Mayan Abdominal training and soon completed the professional training.
I view the body more in fascial terms. Fascia wraps around cells, tissues and organs, tying everything together rather like very strong plastic wrap. If it sticks together in one spot, it will pull at the fascia from all over the body. I follow the lines of tension and come to the place where the adhesion is and with a little time, pressure and movement, the adhesion releases and you get relief.
I love my work and plan to do it for as long as I can.
In my practice, I focus on the Mayan work and treatment work, but I also do relaxation work.
